TRAINING EVOLVED
Unless otherwise noted, all courses are open to eligible participants. Students are responsible to determine and follow any restrictions for the possession, use, transportation, and discharge of firearms in the state of California.
Anyone convicted of a felony, convicted of a violent misdemeanor, under criminal indictment preventing the use of a firearm, entered into a law enforcement information database for the purpose of criminal tracking, or anyone who has been placed under an involuntary hold due to mental health concerns are ineligible to participate in any course conducted by CORETAC.
Restricted enrollment courses are noted and specified.
Course tuition fees must be paid in-full during registration. Payment may be made online through PayPal or in-person noted in course description. Payments involving money order or cashier's check must be arranged prior to the course. Contact CORETAC to arrange for payment by check.
A $40 administrative fee is charged for each cancellation. A refund of the remaining balance can be given or the balance can be transferred over to another course, minus the administrative fee.
All courses conducted by CORETAC are subject to cancellation due to unforseen circumstances. Enrolled students will be notified no later than 4 days prior to the start date of the course. CORETAC assumes no responsibility for any expenses incurred by enrolled students due to cancellation of the course by CORETAC. If the course is cancelled, the tuition balance can be refunded or applied to a future course.
To be elligible for a refund of the tuition balance minus a $40 administrative fee, the student must contact CORETAC in writing no later than 7 days before the start of the training course. Tuition fees will be charged in full if cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the course. Contact should be done through email at contact@CORETAC.net or by our contact page (CLICK HERE).
Students who are discovered to not be elligible for participation due to legal restrictions are not elligible for refund. Students shall ensure that they are legally elligible to participate in their enrolled course.
Refunds shall not be given to anyone who is unable to participate in a course due to equipment, firearms, or ammunition restricted for unauthorized use in the state of California.
Courses which are noted as "restricted for public safety professionals" may have additional course restrictions. Restrictions for each course are noted in the course description. Proof of employment or status is required during check-in.
Law enforcement- students must be currently employed or have reserve status in authorized law enforcement agency. Municipal, state, and federal agencies are eligible. Those employed by private security companies in a law enforcement capacity must contact CORETAC in advance to determine course eligibility. Retired officers must have current retired status and remain in good-standing with their original agency. Law enforcement personnel employed in foreign countries are not eligible for these courses and should contact CORETAC for courses which comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and are authorized by the United States Department of State.
Military- students must be currently serving in either an active-duty or reserve status in a unit, agency, or branch of the United States armed services. Former service does not qualify for this course. Members of foreign military units are not eligible for these listed courses. Foreign military service members should contact CORETAC for courses which comply with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and are authorized by the United States Department of State.
STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT THEY BRING FIREARMS LEGAL FOR USE IN CALIFORNIA.
STUDENTS SHALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE TO FOLLOW ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND RESTRICTIONS GOVERNING THEIR USE OF FIREARMS.

NO live ammunition, live weapons, knives, impact devices, explosives, chemical agents, or less-lethal munitions or launchers are allowed inside of the training location.
CORETAC follows all guidelines and restrictions set by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
